Team Witsken Tennis - Leagues!
Team Witsken offers many different league opportunities during the year for players of all ages! Team Witsken leagues are a great way to get in some match play to improve your game! These matches are great opportunities to apply what you have learned to your game! Match play is a great form of practice and the experience you can gain from playing is a huge benefit to improving your game! Check out our options below!

USTA Leagues
Team Witsken Players have the option of participating in USTA League play during different parts of the season. USTA Leagues are open to all tennis players and the only requirement is that players be USTA members.

USTA Leagues are a fun way to play tennis with friends and to meet others of your ability. Once you become a USTA member, you can self rate yourself to determine which level you should play at. From there, you find a team and will be able to play matches on teams!

USTA can help place players on USTA teams and also players can form their own teams. Team Captains will need to register for the league and then once they get their team number, players register under that number to be on the same team together.

In addition to the league teams, USTA also offers lots of fun ways to play like the Flex League where players play singles and players contact each other to play their matches based on their schedule at a mutually agreed upon location.

To learn more about the many USTA options, you can contact us at Team Witsken to see if we are forming any teams or you can visit the website to see what USTA Leagues offer.

Currently at Team Witsken, we have teams for the following levels:
Men's 4.0 Summer League
Women's 4.0 Summer League
Women's 3.5 Summer League
Women's 2.5 Summer League

*More opportunities will be available once indoor play begins at the Pearson Automotive Tennis Club.

Our teams usually play home matches out of one of the Zionsville Middle Schools, although away matches can take place at a number of different sites based on where other teams are based out of. Matches will take place in the Central Indiana District during the summer and if teams win their division, they will qualify to play in the regionals.

Central Indiana Women's Indoor Tennis League (CIWITL)
CIWITL is an indoor tennis league for women who are members of tennis clubs throughout Central Indiana. This league is divided into teams by playing level. (See the NTPR chart below.) The teams practice once a week for 1.5 hours and they play matches approximately once a month on various Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays between 11 AM and 2 pm. Each match consists of 12 women playing doubles. It's a great way to meet new friends and socialize. The CIWITL season begins in September and runs until May.
